Texans Fire Bill O’Brien

What team gives the worst coach I have ever seen the power to trade, or release any player that doesn’t “obey his orders or support his horrible system” Now this in itself is a walking contradiction, because one can’t remain biased towards its players let’s say if a player yelled at the coach, the subconscious mind of a coach will trigger him or her to become furious. Therefore with giving a coach the power to dictate who stays or who goes, it leaves the system very corrupt. I believe I speak for all Texans fans when I say “fire him”.

Bill O’Brien what a failure. The failure that carries within his name upsets Texans fans around the world. Bill O’Brien, the GM of the Houston Texans, who made that decision one may ask? What was the mindset, he’s a horrible coach so let’s give him a position where he can pretty much never get fired. Now I’m not a part of the Texans organization at all but I’m looking in the perspective of a die hard fan, when I say the Texans continue to disappoint me even more without playing at all.

This is a common phrase surrounding O’Brien’s name throughout the year especially after the Texans have lost a game. A phrase that is torturing the Texans name after he decided to trade one of the best receivers in the National Football League for a running back. Now I’d understand if we got an early first round pick and a running back but they received a running back and a second round pick. Which seems very odd to me because I believe a smart GM would leave the opportunity of trade on the market for a while and I believe teams would bargain to give away an actual asset in return but sadly this was only wished by Texans fans following the breaking news. I personally was furious. The whole city felt like it just got its heart ripped out of its chest. So who’s to blame for this careless decision making? One would go straight for O’brien but I’d like to blame the “genius” that put him in a position to govern the team. That deal was simply put as a robbery , or some would refer to a return of a “ham sandwich” for a prime rib.

Sadly we’ve lost our best wideout in the league, but I do hope this will be seen as a model of the consequences of putting Bill O’brien in a governing position such as the one he sits in as active General Manager of the Houston Texans. We deserve better Houston, we have been diehard fans from the beginning of time, our team should show us some type of appreciation for our encouragement by bettering itself but sadly we stand at crossroads, questioning not only the future of the team but the future of our weird fading lives as Texans fans.

Does his explanation sound fishy to you?

“I would say the deal with Arizona was a deal that we thought was in the best interest of our team,” O’Brien said on a conference call with reporters, per Sports Radio 610 in Houston. “DeAndre Hopkins was a great football player for us here. He made so many plays for us. We love DeAndre Hopkins. But he had three years left on his deal and he wanted a raise. We weren’t going to be able to go in that direction.”
